Perifèries del cartell

/Explores the limits and the evolution of the poster until today as well as its near future. The methodologies, formats, techniques, mediums and functions that present the poster as we know it —and as we could know it— are investigated. In addition, different situations and points of view are generated, creating a set of meta-posters (posters regarding posters) to think over the issues which affect them. Some of these issues could be the unimportance given to posters nowadays due to the abundance of visual information, protest posters, new mediums, their future or the lack of importance given to the creation process.

All the above is investigated from an experimental methodology that brings forward different ways of expression, always concerning the concept poster. A poster that will always be present in its most traditional form or that will adapt to different mediums.

Cobarxo

Editorial publication on alternative, sustainable and community projects around housing where research, looking for local projects and visiting buildings play an important role. For example, the guided tour through La Borda allows us to do an interview and take some photographs. The final step is gathering all the information, writing the texts and laying them (and the photographs) out on 5 printed newspapers.

Buildings in order of appearance: Walden 7, Walden XXI, Princesa 49, La Borda, Sant Ferran, Henri Quillé, À-Tic.
